Arizona Institute for Sports Medicine

This is an ambulatory sports medicine clinic with orthopedic sports medicine and primary care sports medicine working side by side.  We have on site radiography, physical therapy and durable medical goods and casting.  We utilize an EMR - Epic.  Adjacent to the clinic is University of Arizona Health Network South Campus, which is another teaching hospital for the University of Arizona with emergency room, radiology, MRI, operating suites and inpatient capabilities.

The University of Arizona Campus Health Service

This is the other primary site where the fellow practices ambulatory sports medicine.  In addition this clinic is full service with onsite physical therapy, full lab, pharmacy, pubic health service, acute care, women’s health, occupational, psychiatry and mental health services and general medicine.  We also offer massage therapy.  We utilize Point and Click as our EMR.

The University of Arizona McKale Center, satellite clinic

  • Intercollegiate Athletics

This is a satellite clinic for Campus Health Service in the McKale Athletic Center.  This is the preferred location for the treatment of the athletes. It also has a C-Arm fluoroscope in addition to full EMR.  There is also an additional training room and satellite clinic in the football stadium North endzone complex.

The University of Arizona Banner University Campus

This is the primary teaching hospital, 345 beds,  for the University of Arizona.  It has a Level One trauma center.  Here the fellows work with the musculoskeletal radiologists and our emergency medicine fellow works in the emergency department. www.emergencymed.arizona.edu

The University of Arizona Banner University South Campus

  • Emergency Room

This is the other teaching hospital, 200 beds, for the University of Arizona with MRI, operating suites and inpatient capabilities.  The emergency medicine fellow works in this emergency department as well.

University Orthopedic Specialists

Private orthopedic practice, where the fellow works with Dr. Jon Nisbet, orthopedic sports medicine surgeon and team orthopedic surgeon. The fellow can accompany Dr. NIsbet in outpatient surgery.

Southwest Shoulder, Elbow and Hand

Private practice orthopedic upper extremity specialty practice. Here the fellow spends a minimum 2 weeks in the clinic and in the OR with the upper extremity specialist. http://swhand.com

Tucson Orthopedic Institute

Private, multispecialty, orthopedic group office.  Here the fellow rotates with our PM& R specialist and works with orthopedic spine specialists.
